The Vector Optics Tauron 3–18x50 riflescope is a precision optical sight with an MPX1 ballistic reticle positioned in the first focal plane (FFP). The reticle scale changes proportionally with magnification, allowing for precise corrections at any magnification. The scope features an illuminated aiming dot with six-stage intensity adjustment, operated by a side knob.

The optical system, with FMC-coated lenses, guarantees high light transmission and a high-contrast image. The interior of the tube is nitrogen-filled to prevent lens fogging. Open ballistic turrets allow for vertical and horizontal adjustment with a precision of 1/10th of a mil per click. The 30mm diameter tube is compatible with a wide range of ring-based mounts.

The scope's body is made of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, providing high mechanical resistance (up to 1000 G) and waterproofness compliant with the IP67 standard. A neoprene sheath is included to protect the scope during transport and storage.
