The HE407C-GR is an open red dot sight designed for pistol use. It features a green Holosun Super LED with up to 50k hours of battery life, a 2MOA dot, Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake.
In the X2 version, the collimator has received - in addition to the improvements known from previous versions, such as a sliding battery tray - a modified, horizontal button layout that facilitates intuitive operation and Lock Mode: an option to lock the buttons, protecting against accidental changes to the settings.
The use of an extremely efficient LED diode and an optimized control system in the design means that the device offers a theoretical operating time of up to 50,000 hours on a single battery at medium brightness setting.
Made of glass dedicated to the production of optics, the lenses have been multi-coated with reflective coatings, ensuring excellent transmission of visible light. This guarantees a bright, clear and interference-free image.
The model is equipped with the Solar Failsafe system, which, in addition to saving battery life, introduces automatic adjustment of the aiming point brightness to the device. This solution will work perfectly in the case of smooth transitions between open and closed spaces. It is also possible to turn off the automatic mode - then we get 10 standard modes and 2 adapted to night vision, set manually by the user.
The Shake Awake system used in the device is responsible for saving battery life. After a user-programmed time, the collimator goes into sleep mode. To wake it up, all that is needed is a small movement of the weapon on which it was mounted.
The device is constructed of aluminum, anodized, providing chemical and mechanical resistance. The material combines low weight with high resistance to damage thanks to the use of block milling technology.
