The HS407C is an open-frame red dot sight designed for pistol use. It features a red Holosun Super LED with a 50,000-hour battery life, a 2 MOA dot, Solar Failsafe, and Shake Awake.
In the X2 version, the collimator has received - in addition to the improvements known from previous models, such as a sliding battery tray - a modified, horizontal button layout, facilitating intuitive operation, and Lock Mode: an option to lock the buttons to prevent accidental changes to the settings.
The use of a high-performance LED and an optimized control system allows the device to operate for up to 50,000 hours on a single battery at medium brightness settings.
The optical glass lenses are coated with multi-layer reflective coatings, ensuring high light transmission. This ensures bright, clear, and distortion-free images.
The Solar Failsafe system saves battery power and enables automatic adjustment of the aiming point brightness. This solution is effective for smooth transitions between open and enclosed spaces. In manual mode, the user has 10 brightness levels at their disposal, plus two dedicated levels for night vision.
The Shake Awake function saves power. After a user-defined time, the sight enters sleep mode, and a slight movement of the weapon is enough to activate it.
