Digital day and night night vision device with laser infrared illuminator and 4.6x magnification. The laser illuminator increases the range of the night vision device in comparison to the version with a diode illuminator. The device allows for observations both at night and during the day. It uses digital technology that uses a new generation of highly sensitive and efficient infrared CMOS sensors. Contrary to all previously produced night vision devices, PHOTON is built in the form of a classic spotting scope with a round tube. At this point, the previously known problems with mounting such devices disappear - any mounting with clamps with a diameter of 30mm is enough to mount PHOTON. The PHOTON sights lens has a diameter of 50 mm, so it is sufficient to use a low or medium mount.
Compared to other night vision devices, PHOTON stands out due to its simple operation. All knobs and manipulators were placed in easily accessible places, the menu was limited to the necessary minimum.
The image visible in the device is digitally processed both at night and during the day. The device allows you to observe in complete darkness at a distance of 190 m (in the version with a laser illuminator). Both versions with a laser illuminator (marked L) and with a diode illuminator with a slightly smaller range (marked S) are available. Photons with 50mm lens have a magnification of 4.6x. The heart of this series of night vision devices is a CMOS sensor with a resolution of 654 x 492 pixels. The image is displayed in black and white on the 640 x 480 display. It is possible to select six grids displayed digitally on the background of the visible image.
PHOTON has a shock resistance of up to 6000 J.
