Vortex Defender E-10 / 38 eyepiece flip cap (Vortex, SKU: E-10). The Vortex Defender E-10 is a flip cap that protects a scope eyepiece during transport and storage. It fits an outside eyepiece diameter of 41.5–46 mm. The cap can be positioned at 45° or 90°, and the spring mechanism also allows it to fold flat out of the line of sight. The cap is designed for Vortex scopes except VPR-M-01BDC, VPR-M-04BDC, VPR-M-03BDC and Viper HS 4–16×44 models VHS-4305 and VHS-4304. It also fits the eyepiece of the Vortex 8×36 RT monocular.
