Swampfox Optics Freedom Mount 30 mm riflescope mount is a lightweight, one-piece cantilever mount designed for optical sights with a 30 mm tube. The construction attaches to a 1913 MIL-STD Picatinny rail and was developed for AR-15 rifles, large-frame AR platforms and other models with a stock positioned in line with the receiver.
The centre of the front ring extends 50.8 mm beyond the front edge of the mounting surface. This makes it easier to position the riflescope for proper eye relief. The optical centreline sits 40.6 mm above the rail, allowing the mount to accommodate many riflescopes equipped with objective lenses measuring up to 56 mm in diameter.
The skeletonised body is CNC-machined from durable 7075-T6 aluminium. Despite its high rigidity, the mount weighs approximately 156 g. Integrated recoil lugs help maintain its position on the rail and reduce the possibility of the assembly shifting under recoil.
Low-profile T25 Torx screws secure the mount to the rail without protruding thumb nuts. The rings are closed with T10 Torx screws, allowing the riflescope tube to be secured evenly. The matte, hard-anodised black finish protects the aluminium against scratches and reduces unwanted light reflections.
