An artificial star is a specialized accessory that allows you to check and make corrections to the telescope's collimation without having to go outside and wait for dusk to come.
The 9 µm Allsky emits a light spot with a diameter of 9 µm. The device is equipped with the possibility of adjusting the brightness, allowing for simulation of different stellar magnitudes.
There is a table on the housing of the device that allows you to set an artificial star at an appropriate distance, depending on the aperture of the telescope. • spot diameter 9 µm • white light with adjustable brightness • spot diameter: 9 µm • light color: white • brightness control: yes • power supply: 9 V battery • 60 mm - 1 m • 80 mm - 1 m • 100 mm - 2 m • 120 mm - 2 m • 150 mm - 2 m • 180 mm - 3 m • 200 mm - 3 m • 250 mm - 4 m • 280 mm - 4 m • 300 mm - 5 m • 350 mm - 6 m • 400 mm - 7 m • 500 mm - 8 m • 600 mm - 10 m • 9 µm Allsky artificial star 24 months (note, below pictures of the 50 um version)
