The NYX Hand Controller (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-NYX-HC) is a dedicated wired hand controller designed for use with Pegasus Astro NYX mounts, particularly the NYX-101. It is intended for visual observers who prefer direct, hardware-based control of the mount without relying on a computer or mobile device.

The controller provides quick access to essential mount functions, including slew rate selection, manual movement of the RA and DEC axes, alignment procedures, and GoTo operations using built-in object catalogs. A clear red film display and illuminated buttons ensure comfortable operation while preserving night vision.

Connection to the mount is achieved via a single coiled cable, allowing for fast and straightforward setup. Button illumination automatically fades after a period of inactivity, minimizing light emission during nighttime observing sessions.
