OCAL-PRO is an advanced version of the OCAL collimator, which in addition to collimating Newtonian telescopes can also cooperate with optical tubes of Schmidt Cassegrain and Ritchey Chretien * systems.
The entire collimation process takes place in just four steps and is controlled by the simple and intuitive OCAL software, available for download from the manufacturer's website. In addition, the PRO version, unlike its basic counterpart, allows you to control the entire procedure using a phone or smartphone (Android / iOS) connected with a USB cable to the appropriate OTG adapter.
In order to minimize the risk of misalignment during assembly, the collimator is equipped with a standard M42 thread, to which, if necessary, you can attach a nose 1.25 "or a dedicated M48 adapter (included in the set) ).
