The dome is made of a 5 mm thick polyester-glass laminate, which provides full resistance to weather conditions, while guaranteeing high durability and aesthetics. Additionally, it is reinforced with embossments placed on the outside of the sphere and special reinforcements embedded inside the structure.
The dome consists of 7 basic elements, which greatly facilitates assembly on tall buildings and transport.
The tightness of the dome is guaranteed by a special construction of the connections of the elements, preventing water from getting inside the sphere. A large gap at the base and the light color of the coating prevent excessive heating of the dome. A large, one-meter-wide, lockable observation window embedded in the outline of the sphere allows for free observations, both visual and with the help of telescopes with a diameter of up to 90 cm.
The observation window was designed so that the telescope would have a free view of the zenith. The rotation of the dome is provided by a track placed in the base of the ball, it rolls on it guided by a set of 16 plastic rollers.
All manufactured domes are assembled at the factory and then disassembled and prepared for transport.
Thanks to its modular design, the dome is designed for future expansion with drives and automation systems. This allows you to order the cheapest option first, and as the observatory grows, add more automation components. • dome diameter: 3000 mm • flap width: 1000 mm • dome height: 2400 mm • Base diameter: 2760 mm • dome weight (including pallet): approx. 350 kg determined individually, depending on the specifics of the dome installation location We can deliver the dome within approximately 14 days of placing the order The dome and control system are covered by a 1 (one) year warranty

After preliminary arrangements have been made regarding the selection of the site for erecting the dome, the dome can be ready for use within a few days. Day 1 Preparing the area for the screed
