The Rowan Engineering Belt Modification Kit is a set that allows you to easily significantly improve the characteristics of large mounting assemblies under the control of the SynScan ™ remote control (Sky-Watcher EQ6, NEQ6, EQ6Pro, NEQ6Pro, Orion Atlas EQ- G), both in terms of driving precision and noise reduction. This is possible by changing the standard gear of the declination and right ascension axis to a dedicated belt gear with the appropriate tensioners.
The modified belt transmission has the same ratio as the standard version, so its replacement in no way affects the operation of the assembly or the functionality of the SynScan ™ drive • noticeable improvement in driving precision in relation to the factory set thanks to the use of a belt transmission
