The William Optics 50mm Guiding Scope (white and gold, SKU: M-G50WGIII) is a high-quality f/4 guiding optical scope with an achromatic objective lens. It is equipped with a precise RotoLock helical microfocuser with a 1.25" mount, which ensures secure and stable mounting of guide cameras. The design has been optimized for use with popular 1.25" autoguider cameras (ZWO, QHY, SBIG, and others).
The scope offers 8mm of focusing range using a RotoLock ring, and a minimum available backfocus reserve of 6.2mm—meaning it's not designed for use with eyepieces or as a classic finder scope, but solely for guiding applications. The tube is made of anodized aluminum, finished in the distinctive white and gold William Optics style. | • Lens diameter: | 50 mm | | • Focal length: | 200 mm | | • Lightpower: | f/4 | | • Field of view: | 5.7° | | • Optical design: | air-gap achromatic doublet, MC | | • Sharpening system: | RotoLock helical microfocuser, adjustment range 8 mm | | • Backfocus available: | 6.2 mm | | • Way of looking: | opposite | | • Image orientation: | inverted | | • Tube diameter: | 54 mm | | • Dew shield diameter: | 58 mm | | • Tube length: | 253–261 mm | | • Tube weight: | 430 g | | • Camera mount: | 1.25" RotoLock for cylindrical sleeve | | • Finish color: | white and gold | | • Country of production: | Taiwan |
