Carbon Fiber Tripod for NYX-88 Mount (PegasusAstro, SKU: PEG-TRPD88) is a lightweight and rigid tripod designed for use with the Pegasus Astro NYX-88 harmonic drive mount. The carbon fiber leg construction provides excellent mechanical stiffness combined with low overall weight, making it suitable for both portable and semi-permanent astrophotography setups.
The tripod includes a dedicated adapter for direct attachment of the NYX-88 mount head. It is recommended for imaging setups up to 15 kg, while offering a maximum mechanical load capacity of 50 kg. The fixed 35° leg angle ensures consistent geometry and high torsional rigidity, which is essential for accurate tracking performance.
An adjustable height range from 65 cm to 120 cm allows comfortable adaptation to various observing conditions and equipment configurations. The package includes metal spikes to replace the rubber feet for improved stability on natural ground, as well as a carry bag for safe transport and storage.
