Telescope cover medium size, width 1200 mm, height 1600 mm
This cover is made of a flexible multilayer, reflective fabric, protects the telescope from dust, rain, and above all, avoids the telescope heating up under the influence of solar radiation. Thanks to the high reflection coefficient (99%), obtained due to the use of Mylar foil with high optical density, the instrument and its electronic components can be kept in the open also on days with high insolation.
Inside the fabric there are three layers of LDP polyethylene, which provide high flexibility in covering the telescope and its complete protection.
The microclimate, created inside the cover, ensures that the condensation process is avoided and allows the instrument to be left for long periods of time under any weather conditions. The high slip factor of the surface of the cover reduces the accumulation of dust; in addition, the very low coefficient of wettability and porosity of the fabric surface ensures that water does not accumulate.
