The Sharpstar Z4 is the latest model of a professional astrograph, which thanks to its excellent optical parameters and the highest quality of workmanship, is one of the top bright refractors dedicated to wide field photography of deep sky objects.
The heart of the Sharpstar Z4 astrograph is a six-element optical system with f / 5.5 lenses, in which the lenses are placed in two groups, thanks to which the image obtained is characterized by a perfectly corrected field curvature. Another feature of this apochromat is the use of two low dispersion glass (ED) lenses, which allowed for the highest degree of chromatic aberration correction, which is the main optical defect of lens instruments. The telescope is equipped with a solid cut with a diameter of 3.4 ", which thanks to the gear ratio 1:10 allows for precise focusing. Thanks to the use of the included adapter, the Sharpstar Z4 astrograph can work with many types of astrophotographic cameras with different mounting threads.
Sharpstar Z4 is not only an innovative approach to optics design, but also the first model in the company's offer, which breaks with the previously known design.
