This adapter allows you to connect Canon EOS mount lenses to CCD cameras for astrophotography. This adapter features a Canon-compatible lens adapter on one end and a standard T2 (M42x0.75) thread on the other. The entire unit can be mounted directly on a camera tripod or piggybacked onto a telescope using a 1/4-inch camera thread.

The back focus required by these cameras is typically very small, on the order of 12-19mm. A C-mount/T2 adapter may be required to connect a specific camera.
