ZWO Large M68 Off Axis Guider (SKU: ZWO-OAG-L-68) enables mount guiding using light collected by the main telescope. It eliminates the need for a separate guide scope and reduces problems caused by differential flexure between two instruments. The manufacturer specifies this model for use with the ZWO ASI461MM Pro camera and the ZWO EFW filter wheel for seven square 50 × 50 mm filters.
The 12 × 12 mm prism directs part of the light to the guide camera. The built-in 1.25" helical focuser enables precise focus adjustment and is designed for ZWO ASI Mini cameras. The prism position should be adjusted so that it does not obstruct the area imaged by the main camera sensor.
The included sensor tilt plate has a female M68 × 1 thread and allows adjustment of the sensor plane alignment relative to the optical axis. The guider body is 17.5 mm thick, and the total length occupied in the optical train with the tilt plate installed is 22.5 mm.
