The ZWO EFW 7 × 2" (2025 version) is a next-generation electronic filter wheel designed for large-format astrophotography setups requiring 2" narrowband and broadband filters. Its upgraded internal structure reduces light leakage through enhanced sealing, dual side barriers, and a fully enclosed motor chamber. The wheel supports seven standard 2" (50.4 mm) mounted filters and also accepts **50 mm unmounted** round filters. With an optical thickness of 20 mm and a robust USB-C interface, it integrates easily into imaging systems with limited backfocus while maintaining fully plug-and-play operation.
