ZWO ASI 183 MM is a compact monochrome astronomical camera dedicated to photographing difficult objects that require high quantum efficiency of the photosensitive matrix.
The heart of this camera is a monochrome Sony IMX183CLK-J CMOS matrix, using back illumination (BI), thanks to which it is characterized by extremely high sensitivity both in the visible and near infrared range. This sensor is also characterized by a negligibly low level of reading noise, which for a gain of 1.6 dB is only 1.6 e. Combined with an advanced 10 / 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, this guarantees breathtaking results. results in almost any conditions.
The whole thing is enclosed in a light and compact housing made of aluminum and finished in the red color typical of ZWO products. • monochrome camera with Sony IMX183CLK-J matrix with negligible reading noise and large potential well capacity • 10/12-bit ADC providing large dynamic range • electronic rolling shutter eliminating camera shake • very high quantum efficiency • matrix: Sony IMX183CLK-J (monochrome) • matrix type: back-illuminated CMOS • matrix size: 13.2 x 8.8 mm; diagonal 15.9 mm • matrix resolution: 20.18 MPix, 5496 x 3672 px • single pixel size: 2.4 µm • potential well capacity: 15 ke • reading noise: 1.6 e for 30 dB gain • peak quantum efficiency: 84% • exposure time: 32 µs - 2000 s • shutter type: rolling shutter, electronic • back focus: 6.5 mm • ADC: 10 / 12 bit • maximum frame rate: 19 fps • compatible operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux • ports: USB 3.0, ST-4 • cooling system: none • connection adapters: 2"; 1.25"; M42x0.75 • minimum allowable operating temperature: -5 °C • maximum allowable operating temperature: 45 °C • diameter: 62 mm • weight: 140 g • ZWO ASI 183 MM camera • 1.25" cap • 2" cap • T2 adapter - 1.25" • 1.25" nose • USB 3.0 cable (2 m) • ST-4 cable • documentation 24 months
