Player One NEPTUNE-C II Color (SKU: POA-NEPTUNE-C-II ) is the second generation of the popular Neptune series planetary camera. Equipped with the latest Sony IMX464 COLOR (STARVIS 2) sensor in 1/1.8″ format with a resolution of 4.2 MP (2712 × 1538 px), it combines excellent quantum sensitivity (~85%), ultra-low readout noise < 1 e- (HCG mode) and zero amp-glow . USB-C 3.0 electronics and a 256 MB DDR-III buffer provide smooth recording up to 144 fps in full frame RAW10, making the camera an excellent tool for fast color astrophotography ( lucky imaging ) of the Moon, Sun and planets.

NEPTUNE-C II Key Features

• Sony IMX464 COLOR sensor – 2712 × 1538 px (4.17 MP), pixel 2.9 µm
• STARVIS 2 – QE ≈ 85%, no amp-glow, high sensitivity in NIR
• speed up to 144 fps in full frame (RAW10), 400 fps at ROI 640 × 480
• full well ≈ 18 ke-, read noise < 1 e- (HCG) – high dynamic range
• 256 MB DDR-III buffer – continuous bursts without dropped frames
• Super AR Plus window – 350–1000 nm transmission, minimal reflections
• PCS system (radiator) with the possibility of connecting active ACS cooling
• USB-C 3.0 interface (400 MiB/s) + ST-4 port for autoguider
• threads: internal M42 × 0.75 + nose 1.25″ – back-focus 12.5 mm, compatible with SFT tilter and FD MINI drawer
