Antlia ALP-T HS 5 nm 36 mm is a professional astrophotographic filter that passes the Hα and OIII bands. The filter has been designed to work both with DSLR cameras and color cameras, as well as with monochrome cameras, in the case of which it allows you to speed up the signal acquisition process by simultaneously exposing the matrix to two of the three basic spectral lines. Antlia ALP-T filters in the HS ( High Speed ) version have been adapted to work with astrographs with high light intensity by slightly shifting the maxima of the transmission bands towards longer wavelengths than in the case of standard ALT-P filters.
This filter is characterized by a half-width of the transmission bands of only 5 nm, which, combined with the full separation of the Hα and OIII bands, results in a dramatic improvement in the ratio signal to noise, which ultimately translates into a noticeable improvement in sharpness and contrast. The high optical efficiency for the passbands goes hand in hand with the high optical density for the blocked range, thanks to which this filter effectively eliminates the negative impact of light pollution, allowing you to take pictures even in the vicinity of large cities.
Attention! The Antlia ALP-T 5nm 36mm filter is not recommended for visual observation. Under no circumstances may it be used to observe the Sun!
