Sharpstar f / 4.8 is a professional focal length reducer dedicated to the Sharpstar 140Ph f / 6.5 optical tube, allowing to increase the luminosity to f / 4.8 and cooperation with cameras equipped with full frame sensors.
The optical construction of this reducer is a classic triplet with an air gap. In order to eliminate possible light reflections and also to improve the contrast, all lenses are covered with a full multi-layer coating. The back focus of the reducer with the mounted rotator is classically 55 mm, but after disassembling the rotating part, this distance can be increased up to 105 mm.
