The Askar 52 mm Super ED guide scope silver is a professional guide scope with an aperture that collects almost 164% more light than the Askar Guide Scope 32 mm f/4, which translates into a stellar range of mag 10.4. In addition to its use in astrophotography, this guide scope can be used for visual observations when equipped with an optional adapter.
The guider's optics consist of an achromatic doublet with a low-dispersion glass lens (SD) responsible for correcting chromatic aberrations. The Askar 52 mm Super ED guide scope silver is equipped with a helical focus adjustment system that allows for easy and convenient focusing. Thanks to the large front lens and high light intensity, the guider provides high image quality, which directly translates into the accuracy of guiding the set.
