The illuminator (IR illuminator) should be powered only with CR123 3 V batteries. The use of rechargeable batteries, especially those with a real voltage of 3.5 - 3.7 V, causes damage to the device ("burning" - although usually not immediately ). The repair is not carried out under warranty.
