Discovery Gator is a series of tourist binoculars developed by Levenhuk and branded by the Discovery channel, one of the most recognizable TV stations in the world, for many years presenting extremely valuable content popularizing many different fields of science and techniques.
Discovery Gator 16x32 are binoculars with 16x optical magnification equipped with 16 mm objective lenses. This instrument uses roof prisms made of BK-7 glass, which, thanks to the high value of the Abbe number, ensures that chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum, and thus faithful color reproduction in the field of view. The lenses of these binoculars have been additionally covered with a full anti-reflective coating, which significantly improves the contrast of the image.
The body of the binoculars has been additionally sealed, thanks to which it is resistant to moisture, dust and dirt.
