The Focus Falcon II ED 8x42 is a compact pair of binoculars designed to ensure the highest mechanical strength and impeccable optical parameters.
The optical system of the binoculars is built on the basis of elements made of low-dispersion (ED) glass covered with a full multi-layer coating. For the production of prisms, carefully selected BaK-4 glass was used, on which a reflective dielectric layer and a phase coating were applied. The combination of advanced technology of prisms with high-quality lens glass allowed to obtain an extremely sharp and contrasting image with a negligible proportion of chromatic aberration.
Low weight and high resistance to mechanical damage are due to the well-thought-out structure of the body.
