Docter 8x58 BCF is a professional night-vision binoculars produced by the German company Analytik Jena. A characteristic feature is the rarely used objective diameters of 58 mm, which, in combination with an 8-fold magnification, gives the exit pupil with a diameter of 7.25 mm. At the same time, it is characterized by optical efficiency at an elevated level of 95%. It is a pair of binoculars, which basically do not need to be presented. Not surpasses the top Swarovski SLC 8x56 binoculars, it is much cheaper than it, being a strong alternative to Austrian optical products.

The Docter 8x58 BCF binoculars are definitely heavy, even when compared to porro-prism binoculars, such as Fujion FMTR-SX. This is mainly due to the construction and size of the prisms used. However, it repays its image excellence, outstanding brightness, lack of edge darkening (vignetting), negligible coma and astigmatism, well-balanced construction and - which should not be forgotten - are directly related to greater image stability.

The binoculars are nitrogen-filled, waterproof and shockproof. The body and housing were made of very high quality plastics, and the whole was covered with anti-slip rubber for a certain grip. This is not a device that must be considered extraordinarily, but typically useable. The main purpose is obviously twilight and night hunting, so as a hunting binoculars it was designed to check the most difficult lighting and weather conditions, serving the owner for many years.
