Discovery Field is a series of tourist binoculars developed by Levenhuk and branded by the Discovery channel, one of the most recognizable television stations in the world, which for many years has been presenting extremely valuable content popularizing many different fields of science and techniques. The binoculars in this series have been designed in such a way as to provide a bright and detailed image even in the most unfavorable weather and lighting conditions.
Discovery Field 12x50 are binoculars with twelve times optical magnification, equipped with lenses with a diameter of 50 mm. This instrument uses Porro prisms made of BK-7 glass, which, thanks to the high Abbe number, ensures that chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum, and thus faithful reproduction of colors in the field of view. The lenses of these binoculars are additionally covered with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, which significantly improves image contrast.
The binocular body is additionally sealed, making it resistant to moisture, dust and dirt.
