Most eyepieces suffer from image distortion along the edges of the field of view, moving the object towards the edge causes distortion to appear: this does not happen with the new Artesky Super ED series.

Super ED eyepieces counteract this defect by ensuring you have a perfect image right to the edge of the field; these eyepieces feature ED elements for high color purity and very high transparency.

Thanks to the 6-element optical design, Super ED (SED) eyepieces offer remarkable performance in terms of contrast and image definition.

All glass/air surfaces feature a multi-layer coating against unwanted reflections.

Artesky Super ED eyepieces with an apparent field of view of 60° fall into the category of wide-angle eyepieces; classic eyepieces with TUNNEL effect are used less and less by amateur astronomers, if we compare Super ED eyepieces to classic Plossl, the former have a 30% wider field of view!

Observation remains pleasant and relaxed even for a long time, in fact the Super ED eyepieces have a removable Twist-UP rubber hood to comfortably rest the eye; the 16mm eye relief is also useful for those who use glasses.
