Tele Vue Nagler is a cult series of astronomical glasses developed by Al Nagler - one of the best designers of professional observation optics in the world. The entire range of Nagler models consists of three types of glasses, which combine the basic assumption of their designer, namely obtaining the largest possible field of view while maintaining full comfort of use.
The Nagler 2.5mm Type 6 is a seven-element optical design with an apparent field of view of 82 ° and a focal length of 2.5mm. In order to obtain the best correction of chromatic aberration, each lens was made of high-quality optical glasses with different refraction indexes. In addition to using the best available materials, the surfaces of the lenses have been covered with a full multilayer coating (FMC) to eliminate light reflections, which, combined with their darkened edges, gives a spectacularly sharp and contrasting image throughout the entire field of view.
All Nagler Type 6 eyepieces feature an exit pupil offset of 12 mm, making observation convenient even for people who wear prescription glasses. • seven-element optical system with a focal length of 2.5 mm and an apparent field of view of 82 ° • Perfect correction of chromatic aberration • effective elimination of glare thanks to darkening of the edges of the lenses and covering them with a full multi-layer coating • large offset of the exit pupil ensuring comfortable observation even with corrective glasses • eyeglass series: Tele Vue Nagler, type 6 • eyepiece optics: 7-element • apparent field of view (AFoV): 82 ° • eyepiece focal length: 2.5 mm • diaphragm diameter: 3.4 mm • offset of the exit pupil: 12 mm • paraphocal group: B • eyecup: folded down • type of coating: full multilayer coating (FMC) • diameter of the frame: 1.25 " • eyepiece length: 88.9 mm • maximum diameter: 40.6 mm • weight: 247 g • Tele Vue Nagler 2.5 mm Type 6 eyepiece 60 months
