A triple Barlow lens in a 1.25 "frame made of low dispersion glass (ED), minimizing the effects of chromatic aberration.
The main advantage of using Barlow lenses is that they allow you to limit the number of glasses while providing a wide range of available magnifications. For example, having 2 eyepieces with 30 and 15 mm focal lengths, and using a 3x Barlow lens, we get two additional magnifications corresponding to eyepieces with 10 and 5 mm focal lengths. In addition, Barlow lenses do not change the offset of the exit pupil of the glasses ( eye relief ), they allow the focus to be extended further from the tube (when we have a problem with sharpening the image) and they allow to extend the focal length when taking photos of the sky at the focus of the lens by a factor of ¶Æ equal to the Barlow lens (2x, 2.5x, 3x, 5x). | • times: | 3x | | • construction: | ED doublet | | • barrel standard: | 1.25 inch | | • anti-reflective layers: | FMC | | • weight: | 119 g |

HOW TO ATTACH A BARL LENS TO A TELESCOPE

 >> FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS << Question : Can the element containing the optics of the same lens be unscrewed and screwed into any thread of the eyepiece with filter reduction, in order to magnify a little less?
Answer: There is no such possibility. The element with the lens can be unscrewed, but the housing thread is not a filter thread M28.5x0.6.
