The Pentax XF is a series of excellent eyepieces intended both for astronomical observations and for use with observation telescopes.
The Pentax XF 6.5 - 19.5 mm model is equipped with a varifocal optical system with low-dispersion lanthanum glass elements. The lenses, arranged in four groups, were covered with a multi-layer anti-reflective Pentax Super-Multi Coating (SMC) coating, and in order to ensure the best contrast, the location of the diaphragm limiting internal light reflections was selected by computer simulations.
The casing of the eyepiece is made in accordance with the requirements of the JIS 4 standard, thanks to which the structure is fully resistant to adverse weather conditions (fog, drizzle, etc.).
