The Tele Vue Panoptic 41mm 2" Eyepiece (SKU: EPO-41.0) is the largest model in the Panoptic series, offering the maximum actual field of view available in a 2" frame. Designed by Al Nagler, this eyepiece combines a wide 68° field of view with the highest quality optics, based on an arrangement of six lenses in four groups. Thanks to the large diameter of the diaphragm and the focal length of 41 mm, the eyepiece is ideal for observing extensive deep sky objects, such as open clusters or extensive nebulae. High light transmission and contrast are achieved thanks to full multilayer coatings (FMC) and blackened lens edges. The comfort of observation is ensured by a large exit pupil distance - as much as 27 mm. • wide apparent field of view of 68° at a focal length of 41 mm • optical system: six lenses in four groups • the largest real field of view in a 2" frame • Fully multi-coated (FMC) and blackened lens edges • exceptionally large exit pupil distance – 27 mm • fold-down eyecup • solid, precise optical and mechanical construction • Tele Vue Panoptic 41 mm 2" eyepiece • protective caps • warranty card • focal length: 41 mm • apparent field of view (AFoV): 68° • Diaphragm diameter: 46 mm • exit pupil distance: 27 mm • optical system: six lenses in four groups • Frame diameter: 2" • length without sleeve: 97 mm • Maximum diameter: 76 mm • weight: 953 g • coatings: full multi-layer (FMC) • eyecup: foldable • parafocal group: A 24 months
