SmartEye Pegasus Astro is an advanced 2" electronic eyepiece that combines classic visual observing with electronically assisted astronomy (EAA) and the functionality of a full-featured cooled astronomical camera. The device has been designed as a self-contained observing system with an integrated Sony IMX533 sensor, a high-quality OLEDoS display, and active thermoelectric cooling. SmartEye enables detailed real-time observations of deep-sky objects, even under heavily light-polluted skies, without the need for a computer. Thanks to integration with the SkySafari application and support for ASCOM Alpaca and INDI standards, it can operate both as an intelligent digital eyepiece and as a cooled astronomical camera.
