Eyepiece with a focal length of 31 mm and an impressive, 82-degree apparent field of view, equal in this respect to the famous Nagler series eyepieces. The Luminos 31 mm model is a six-element construction, set in a solid body made of anodized aluminum. The rubber ring placed on the housing ensures a firm and comfortable grip during use.
The large exit pupil distance of 27 mm guarantees high viewing comfort, even for people wearing corrective glasses. The eyepiece is equipped with a standard 2" filter thread.
Luminos eyepieces offer very well corrected images even in f/5 telescopes, making them a versatile choice for both fast and slower telescopes.
The 31 mm focal length allows you to observe a wide range of objects. In most telescopes, it provides low magnifications ideal for a wide-angle survey of the sky. For example, in the popular Newtonian telescope SW 150/750, this eyepiece provides 24x magnification and a real field of view of about 3.42°, which allows comfortable observations of extensive deep-sky objects. The field of view includes such extensive objects as the Andromeda Galaxy, the Pleiades, or the entire Veil Nebula complex.
Such a wide field of view is a significant convenience for beginners, who will be able to easily find more objects in the sky. Additionally, this eyepiece works great in telescopes with a light intensity of f/10 and less, in which obtaining a wide field of view is more difficult than in faster designs.
All Luminos eyepieces are parfocal, which means there is no need to make significant sharpening adjustments when changing them in the focuser. • series: Luminos • eyepiece focal length: 31 mm • apparent field of view: 82° • Diaphragm diameter: 47 mm • optical system: hybrid • exit pupil distance: 27 mm • coatings: FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) • eyecup: unscrewable • Frame diameter: 2" • weight: 1220 g
