The CPC Deluxe telescope series with the revolutionary SkyAlign alignment system introduces a new standard in amateur astronomy: extremely easy and fast alignment and guiding, GPS system, excellent optics made in Edge HD technology, simple start-up and operation, high ergonomics, advanced software, and most importantly all this at new, more affordable prices. Telescope tube The CPC Deluxe 925 HD is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with an aperture of 235mm (9.25") and a focal length of 2350mm. This is an aplanatic version with a modified aspherical correction plate and modern StarBright XLT coatings. Edge HD technology allows for a flat and flawless field of view, ideal for astrophotography. The new system in particular reduces coma and improves resolution at the edge of the field of view. This allows for excellent results even with large-format CCD cameras - correct images are obtained for matrices with a diagonal of up to 52mm. Compared to previous versions, the Edge HD tubes also have a number of mechanical improvements. Among other things, the mounting of the main mirror has been improved, eliminating the so-called mirror shift.
In the rear part of the tube there are ventilation holes with special filters preventing dust from getting inside the tube. In addition, these holes accelerate the process of equalizing the temperature inside the tube with the ambient temperature, which is of paramount importance for the quality of the image obtained.
All Edge HD telescopes are equipped with the Fastar system, which allows the CCD camera to be placed directly in the telescope's primary focus. The collimation procedure has also been simplified, which can now be performed with knobs without the use of tools. Installation The telescope is ergonomically designed, making it easy to fold, unfold and carry to various observation locations. Large gear wheels and a quick release mechanism guarantee quiet and smooth operation of the mount. It has additional inputs for AutoGuider and PC. Mounting the head on a tripod is simple and quick.
Thanks to the use of a double-arm head, the entire structure is more stable than in the case of single-arm installations.
SkyAlign technology ensures quick and easy setup of the mount before starting observations. Just select three bright stars and the telescope is ready to work in a moment.
