Orion SkyView Pro 8 "EQ is a mirror telescope with a main mirror diameter of 203 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm on a robust parallactic montage, with powerful observation capabilities, suitable for ambitious beginners as well as advanced astronomy enthusiasts It is a versatile astronomical instrument of significant size, allowing for very advanced visual observations and taking photographs of the sky at short and medium light times. The telescope is equipped with a 2-inch diameter spectacle lens with a reduction of 1.25 inches, enabling the use of both standards of eyeglass frames.

As far as the observation possibilities of this telescope are concerned, it can be used to observe objects of the Solar System (Moon, planets, asteroids, comets), as well as nebulae. Within its range there are several thousand nebulae objects from the Messier and NGC catalogs.

The optical tube is mounted on a solid class 5 parallactic assembly, with high rigidity and precision. In addition, the assembly can be equipped with a two-axis drive on stepper motors controlled by a remote control, thanks to which the telescope will follow the rotation of the blue sphere or a full GOTO set allowing automatic searching and tracking of objects.
