The 10" Messier telescope with a Dobson mount is a breakthrough. Despite the low price, this telescope offers a multitude of applications and a quality that competes with much more expensive telescopes. The 10" (254 mm) optics make it possible to observe objects in our solar system and beyond. The diameter of the telescope allows you to distinguish the light of individual stars in clusters, and nebulae, almost imperceptible in smaller telescopes, now reveal their structure. High-quality hexagonal focuser with a diameter of 2.5" (65 mm) prevents image vignetting even when using wide-angle observation glasses, which is an undesirable feature of narrow focusers .
Large wheels on the height axis ensure precision of movement even when using highly magnifying wide-field glasses. If you use heavier accessories, simply loosen the clamps and slightly move the telescope tube to balance the telescope.
The telescope uses an extractor known from the third generation of Messier telescopes, based on a hexagonal profile with the possibility of rotation, collimation of the optical axis, adjustment of the shifting force and standardly equipped with a single focusing system. This version of the lift can be extended with micro-movements with a ratio of 10:1. The design of the extractor allows the use of even larger and heavier accessories without the undesirable effect of shifting the extractor sleeve. The high precision of the focuser used allows you to achieve optimal sharpness simply and quickly.
The possibility of disassembling the height axle wheels from the tube rings and attaching a "dovetail" rail allows the tube to be quickly adapted to be mounted on typical equatorial mounts.
The included accessories, such as a 6x30 optical finder and a 25mm eyepiece, make the set ready for observations.
The removable assembly, based on metal connections, makes it easier to store and move the entire set. • Newtonian telescope equipped with a main mirror made of low thermal expansion glass H-PZ33 • 2.5" haxafoc extract based on a hexagonal profile (rack & pinion) • large wheels on the height axis ensure smooth and precise movement even at high magnifications • 6x30 optical finder and 25mm eyepiece • six-point primary mirror positioning system to maximize optical efficiency • tube clamps also enable installation on other types of mounts • parts of the telescope base are connected with metal connectors, which allows for quick assembly • diffraction-limited optics, Strehl coefficient > 0.8 • 2.5'' hexafoc focuser supports 2'' with millimeter scale • lift reduction: 2" / 1.25" • lift extensions: 38 mm, 25 mm • SP 25 mm 1.25", 52° AFOV eyepiece • riflescope: 6x30, optical • assembly: Dobsonian | • Optical system: | Newton's reflector | | • Mirror diameter: | 254 mm | | • Lens focal length: | 1270 mm | | • Light power: | 1/5 | | • Figure of a mirror: | rotational paraboloid | | • Resolving power: | 0.55'' | | • Maximum useful magnification: | 500x | | • Transport dimensions: | tube: 131 x 46 x 44 cm, 19 kg assembly: 25 x 60 x 60 cm, 17 kg | | • Libra: | 28 kg |
