The TS 200 mm F/3.2 Hypergraph is a professional astrograph that, in addition to being used for astrophotography, can also be successfully used for visual observations.
The 200 mm diameter primary mirror is made of high-quality H-PZ33 borosilicate glass, characterized by a low coefficient of thermal expansion, comparable to Pyrex or Borofloat glass. Like other Newtonian reflectors, this telescope is characterized by high light intensity, as well as negligible chromatic and spherical aberration. Moreover, thanks to the use of a dedicated coma corrector, the TS 200 mm F/3.2 hypergraph astrograph is also free from this optical defect.
In order to reduce the weight of the tube and speed up the temperature adaptation process, TS-Optics engineers decided to make the housing from carbon fiber, giving it not only excellent performance properties, but also a look that stands out from the competition.
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, the TS 200 mm F/3.2 hypergraph is distinguished by high quality and precision of mechanical elements. A solid rack & pinion type extension allows for mounting even the heaviest astronomical cameras, and mounting rings and a Losmandy foot made in CNC technology guarantee full stability of the tube. • a high-class Newtonian astrograph with a focal ratio of f/3.2 and an effective focal length of 640 mm • four-element coma corrector built into the focuser • a 44-millimeter diameter full-illumination circle that fully covers full-frame matrices • 55mm back focus, compatible with most cameras and camcorders available on the market • solid pulley guaranteeing linearity even under heavy loads • can also be used in visual observations • tube made of carbon fiber • optical design: Newtonian reflector • Main mirror diameter: 200 mm • type of primary mirror: parabolic • focal length of the main mirror: 760 mm • primary mirror material: borosilicate glass H-PZ33 • Diameter of the minor axis of the secondary mirror: 90 mm • effective focal length: 640 mm • aperture: f/3.2 • coma corrector: four-element • coma corrector multiplicity: 0.85x • diameter of the full illumination disc: 44 mm • diameter of the exhaust pipe: 3" • lift type: rack & pinion, dual speed • thread for connecting the camera: M48x0.75 • backfocus: 55mm • additional threads: M78x1 (female, back focus 61.8 mm), M54x0.75 (female, back focus 56 mm) • tube material: carbon fiber • mounting bracket: Losmandy foot • finder mount: Vixen rail • tube length: 633 mm • tube diameter: 281 mm • tube weight: 8 kg • TS 200 mm F/3.2 hypergraph astrograph • Losmandy mounting clamps with handle and foot • 1.25" eyepiece adapter • transport box (dimensions: 80.5 x 46 x 38 cm) 24 months
