Sky-Watcher 102/500 is an achromatic doublet perfect for starting a fascinating adventure with observing deep sky objects (nebulae, galaxies, globular and open clusters). The universal nature of this instrument will also allow you to enjoy the unique view of Saturn's rings, Jupiter's equatorial belts and details on the surface of the silver globe or brighter comets.
The optical system of this refractor is characterized by high luminosity. Since it is capable of collecting more than two hundred times more light than the unarmed human eye, it allows observations to be made at a theoretical stellar range of up to 12.6 magnitude, which means successful observations even close to large Urban means, or in some cases even from the balcony of the apartment.
All lenses of this telescope are covered with a full-layer anti-reflective coating, thanks to which the image obtained is very sharp and contrasting. Depending on the current needs, the user of this instrument can use various glasses, which are attached to a precisely made rack & pinion extractor through an angle attachment.
