Bresser MC-127/1900 is an optical tube in the Maksutov-Cassegrain system with a diameter of 127 mm and a focal length of 1900 mm.
The tube works well as a short balcony planetary spotter, providing very high contrast when observing bright and compact objects (mainly the Moon and planets), because it is practically free from chromatic aberration and is relatively insensitive to atmospheric instability. Moreover, it is a good choice for people looking for a very portable telescope with considerable observation possibilities, one that will accompany many trips to the dark, rural sky, and at the same time takes up very little space in the trunk of the car.
The Maksutow-Cassegrain optical system is one of the most valued optical structures, widely appreciated for its mobility, ease of use and multifunctionality. It is an excellent choice for both astronomical observations and terrestrial observations and aircraft observations. Excellent optics provide an exceptionally sharp image across the entire field of view. The telescope consists of a meniscus correction plate, a primary mirror and a secondary mirror placed on the inner part of the meniscus.
