The GSO RC 6" Carbon telescope is a compact Ritchey-Chrétien-class astrograph designed with the demanding astrophotographer in mind. Thanks to the use of two hyperboloid mirrors and a design without corrective lenses, it provides an image free of coma, spherical and chromatic aberration, making it an ideal tool for photographing galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. The lightweight and rigid carbon fiber barrel minimizes focal length changes caused by temperature fluctuations, which is crucial during long photography sessions. Computer-optimized internal baffles effectively eliminate stray light, increasing the contrast of the obtained images. The 2" Crayford focuser with a 1:10 microfocuser allows for precise focusing, and the included M90 extension tubes allow for easy adjustment of the working distance to various equipment configurations. The telescope is compatible with popular focusing motors such as ZWO EAF, which enables automatic focus control. • optical design: Ritchey-Chrétien (2 hyperbolic mirrors) • Main mirror diameter: 152 mm • focal length: 1370 mm • light intensity: f/9 • central obstruction: 77 mm • mirror material: BK7 with dielectric coating (99% reflection efficiency) • tube length: approx. 50 cm • Outer tube diameter: 191 mm • tube material: carbon fiber • focuser: 2" Crayford with 1:10 microfocus, 50 mm stroke • compatibility with focusing motors: yes (e.g. ZWO EAF) • mounting: Vixen rail, steel, 325 mm long • tube with internal baffles to eliminate scattered light • tube weight: 5.2 kg • GSO RC 6" Carbon tube • Crayford 2" focuser with 1:10 microfocus • 2"/1.25" adapter • 2 x M90 1" extension sleeve • 1 x M90 2" extension sleeve • Vixen mounting rail • finder mount • protective caps
