Astronomical observation has never been so easy and accessible to everyone as now, thanks to the new line of Sky-Watcher Star Discovery telescopes! Star Discovery telescopes are intended for novice users lost among the various models of telescopes, looking for the equipment of their dreams: • lighter than others • the fastest to submit • the simplest to use • more modern than others • reliable in the science of the first astronomical observations
These are the Star Discovery telescopes. Their stable, azimuthal assembly on a steel, extendable tripod hides a modern GO-TO SynScan system, which allows you to track and track over countless objects in the sky! Moreover, the dual axis encoder system allows the telescope to be moved manually without the risk of losing the telescope's orientation to the stars.
Using the SynScan remote control, which is included in the set, or a smartphone (optionally, after using a Wi-Fi adapter) and the free SynScan application (Android / iPhone), it allows you to track and track over countless objects in the sky! Moreover, the dual axis encoder system allows the telescope to be moved manually without the risk of losing the telescope's orientation to the stars.
The mounting head has a basket for 8 batteries / accumulators, thanks to which the telescope can operate wirelessly. This opens up great opportunities for observation away from buildings, eg during a car trip to the dark, starry sky outside the city. It is also an ideal proposition for organizers of sky shows, popularizers of astronomy and teachers.
Nothing stands in the way of going on a night escapade with the new Star Discovery telescope. Express assembly / disassembly of the optical tube and assembly of the tripod is done by means of single knobs and takes 3 minutes. The composition of the tripod tripod, together with the tube, will fit into any car and is easy to carry and fold by one person
The adjustable elevation axis clutch allows smooth and light control of the telescope, even at the zenith. A proper quality finder-scope or red-dot (depending on the model) allows you to instantly find out in which part of the sky the found object is located. Impress your friends with your knowledge of the sky by showing them off with the Star Discovery telescope!
The assembly of Star Discovery telescopes is not only equipment for astronomical applications. Just remove the telescope from it and mount a DSLR with a lens to enter the world of simple astrophotography, time-lapse photography and video. This mount offers the functionality of the Virtuoso mount - it allows you to release the shutter of digital cameras (via the appropriate cable available outside the set), it is battery powered and has a similar system for mounting accessories on the L-adapter (dovetail).
The Star Discovery series includes several types of optical instruments: • achromatic refractor 102/500 mm • Maksutov-Cassegrain 127/1500mm • Newton's parabolic reflector 130/650 mm • Newton's parabolic reflector 150/750 mm Due to the high brightness, the telescope is especially recommended for observing nebular objects. This model will also prove useful when observing planetary objects and lunar craters. The main advantage of this telescope is a large 150 mm parabolic mirror, which is the most important element of the telescope, which determines what and how we will be able to observe. This telescope collects about 320 times more light than the human eye at night, providing the ability to observe objects up to almost 12-13 magnitude (with naked eye visibility up to 6 magnitude). The size of the mirror is also related to the optical resolution, which in this telescope allows the separation of stars that are at least 0.9 apart from each other. additional eyepieces: One eyepiece with a shorter focal length of approx. 5-6 mm for planetary observations and one approx. The telescope is equipped with an eyepiece extractor that allows the use of 1.25" eyepieces. The set includes two aspherical eyepieces with a field of view of 62°. The Star Discovery 150 Newton telescope is the first telescope that can be successfully used in the science of astrophotography, thanks to a simple azimuthal assembly with a computerized drive in both axes, which has a load capacity sufficient to lift the tube optical system of the Newton system with f/5 light and the body of a digital SLR camera. The extractor has a T-2 thread for connecting an optional T-ring and SLR camera body. Solar System objects on the lunar surface larger than 1-2 km; sunspots and their structure, photosphere granulation visible; all the planets of the solar system; the phases of Mercury and Venus; the shield of Mars, polar caps in periods of opposition; several belt zones of Jupiter and Galilean moons; Saturn's rings with Cassini's gap, a belt in the atmosphere and several of the planet's smaller moons; Uranus and Neptune appear as stars with a distinct blue tint; movement of asteroids against the background of stars; observations of many fainter comets, visible structure of brighter comets
stars about 2.7 million stars in the whole sky, double and multiple stars separated by more than 0.9" angularly, colors of many stars
Nebular objects all Messier catalog objects; hundreds of globular clusters, partly broken down into individual stars in many cases; hundreds of open clusters with many visible structural differences; several dozen nebulae, with the first details, rich details of bright nebulae; dozens of galaxies with subtle details of structures, shape and angular position of disks; visible structure and structure of many planetary nebulae; visible supernova remnants A telescope with this type of optics is not well suited for terrestrial observations due to the inversion of the image. THE OFFERED TELESCOPIC ALLOWS YOU TO START OBSERVATIONS ON THE FIRST CLEAR NIGHT - INCLUDES ALL NECESSARY ACCESSORIES
