Sky Rover Optics 125 mm F/7.8 GPA telescope is an ED apochromatic refractor designed for both visual observations and astrophotography. The optical system uses a doublet design with a Super ED element, effectively reducing chromatic aberration and providing high image quality. The lightweight aluminum optical tube assembly, weighing about 6.5 kg, has been designed to facilitate transport and field use while maintaining high mechanical rigidity. The telescope can be used with an optional dedicated 0.8× reducer flattener that changes the focal ratio from F/7.8 to F/6.24, increasing the field of view and improving efficiency in astrophotography.
• ED apochromatic optical system with doublet design including one Super ED element
• 125 mm aperture and 975 mm focal length (F/7.8 focal ratio)
• compatible with optional 0.8× reducer flattener (F/6.24 focal ratio)
• 2.5" R&P focuser with dual-speed control and approximately 90 mm travel
• detachable extension tube allowing easy connection of accessories and binoviewers
• redesigned tube rings allowing accessories to be mounted on the sides
• internal diaphragms reducing stray light inside the optical tube
• lightweight aluminum construction for easier transport and field use
