Evolux 62ED is one of the newest Sky Watcher offers, designed for users looking for a lightweight telescope with impeccable optical properties, which is the basis of a mobile astrophotographic set.
This instrument uses a two-element optic with an air gap in which one of the lenses is made of low dispersion (ED) glass. This type of design guarantees a minimum proportion of chromatic aberration in the generated image, thanks to which the refractor meets the most important requirements set for professional astrophotographic telescopes. The tube is equipped with a 2.4 "diameter cutter with a dual speed adjustment knob, allowing for perfect focus adjustment. For the needs of the Evolux 62ED model, a dedicated focal length reducer with a multiplicity of 0 was developed 9x, allowing the light to be increased to the value of f / 5.8.
The optical tube can be embedded in mounts compatible with the Vixen standard, and thanks to the double slots on the tube clamp, it is possible to use two accessories at the same time, such as a finder and a guider.
