The Levenhuk Atom 10x42 is a compact observation monocular designed for daytime use. It is suitable for trips, walks, landscape viewing, bird and wildlife observation, sports events, and observing architectural details. Compared with traditional binoculars, it is smaller and lighter, making it a practical choice when easy transport and quick use in the field are important.
The optical system is based on BK-7 glass and multi-coated optics. The 10x magnification brings distant objects closer, while the 42 mm objective lens provides reasonable image brightness while keeping the instrument compact. The 113 m field of view at 1000 m is useful for landscape observation and for following moving objects.
The monocular is equipped with a twist-up eyecup, diopter adjustment, and 14 mm eye relief. The minimum focusing distance is 5 m, so the instrument can also be used for viewing closer objects. The body is made of ABS plastic, and the 1/4" thread allows the monocular to be mounted on a photographic tripod.
