The Daystar Filters Universal Solar Finder is a quick and simple device designed to help point a solar telescope precisely at the Sun. A small aperture at the front projects a bright dot onto a white target with crosshairs. When the dot is centered on the crosshair, the telescope is aligned with the Sun. The finder can be mounted in a standard finder dovetail base or attached directly to the telescope tube using the included bungee cord.
