Steiner Military M5Xi 5-25x56 G2B Mil-Dot Riflescope (SKU: LSTP/5-25X56 MILITARY G2B / 8704000101) is a German-made riflescope designed for demanding tactical, sporting and long-range shooting applications. Its five-times 5-25x zoom range allows observation with a wide field of view at lower magnifications and precise recognition of distant target details at 25x magnification.
The optical system with light transmission exceeding 94% provides a bright, high-contrast image even under more difficult lighting conditions. The 56 mm objective lens, 9.8 to 2.2 mm exit pupil and field of view measuring at least 7.2 to 1.4 m at 100 m facilitate observation and target identification throughout the magnification range.
The illuminated G2B Mil-Dot reticle is located in the first focal plane, allowing its subtensions to retain the correct proportions relative to the target at every magnification setting. Its milliradian-based scale enables distance estimation and holdover or wind corrections without changing the turret settings.
The illumination system offers 11 brightness levels: 7 night and 4 daylight settings, with the four lowest settings suitable for use with night-vision devices. Off positions between the brightness levels allow a rapid return to the selected setting.
The precise adjustment turrets operate in MRAD, with each click corresponding to 0.1 mrad, or 1 cm at 100 m. The patented DuoScale elevation turret displays the setting on two successive scales and provides a total adjustment range of 26 mrad. The Zero Stop function and resettable turret scales facilitate monitoring applied corrections and returning to the initial setting.
The side parallax adjustment operates from 50 m to infinity and is positioned coaxially with the illumination control. Large, clearly profiled controls provide audible and tactile clicks, while the one-piece 34 mm tube increases structural rigidity and provides a wide adjustment range.
The riflescope has been built according to demanding military standards. It withstands forces of up to 900 G, is nitrogen-filled and remains pressure-waterproof when submerged to a depth of 10 m. An operating temperature range from -25°C to +63°C allows use in demanding field and weather conditions.
