VIXEN Mobile Porta is a handy azimuth mount, perfect for use in portable observation sets for occasional trips out of town. Due to its extremely simple operation, it is also perfect as a first installation, perfect for starting your adventure with observational astronomy.

The assembly head is designed for a maximum load of 3.5 kg. Precise setting of the head position in both planes is possible thanks to the use of worm gears with convenient knobs, which, similar to the micro-motion adjustment known from equatorial mounts, enable slow shifting of the telescope's field of view.

The assembly head is mounted on a stable, aluminum tripod equipped with two-section legs.
