The Bresser Hexafoc (HEX) microfocuser for Messier telescopes based on a hexagonal profile significantly increases the functionality of the brand's standard focusers. It allows the expansion of single-ratio models (with one focus knob) to a double-ratio 8:1 version. As a result, the focuser is equipped with two focus knobs: standard (1:1) and precise (8:1). A standard single-gear focuser has a limited range of precise focusing, which can be problematic in astrophotography, where achieving the perfect point of focus is key. The dual system with an 8:1 gear ratio makes it much easier to achieve a sharp image, both for visual observations and when photographing celestial objects. Mounting the microfocuser on the focuser is very simple and takes only a few moments. Note: The microfocuser is dedicated to the focusers used in third generation Messier telescopes.
